Elliot M Lee

Hello and welcome! My name is Elliot Lee, and I put this website together to showcase some of the projects I've worked on over the last few years. I'm a cell and molecular biologist by training, though I'm also interested in biology education and computer programming.

I actually coded this entire website by hand. No Wordpress for this fella!

I've spent about four years performing research in molecular biology labs. Most of that time, I was in the Elde Lab of Human Genetics, studying the evolution of human immune proteins. I also spent the summer of 2016 at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg, Germany. You can read all the publications that have come out of my research by clicking on the "Publications" tab.

I'm not happy unless I'm doing a million things, though, so while I was doing research, I also started working for the Genetic Science Learning Center as a programmer. They make all kinds of great content to help teach science. Unfortunately, as the undergraduate intern, none of my projects were very high priority, but you can find rough versions of them by clicking on the "Learning" tab.

Lasty, if you're thinking about giving me money for some reason, please check out my resume (in easy-to-view HTML or convenient PDF forms!), by clicking on the "Resume" tab.
